Latitude on the River will be a lushly landscaped property, offering turn-key amenities, panoramic vistas of the water and city skyline, and a prime location where Brickell meets the Historic Miami River. This
$184 million project will combine affordable luxury condominium living with the vibrant rhythm of riverfront living, where picturesque, rugged tugboats, merchant ships, sailboats, yachts, water taxis and dinghy alike will all ply the gently flowing waters out to sea.
Optimally located on the exclusive southern side of the historic Miami River, Latitude On The River sits in the very midst of the new Riverwalk Promenade, and just steps from the center of Mary Brickell Village.. where open air laissez faire strolling, shopping, dining and the awesome magic of the riverfront lifestyle take absolute precedence.
Latitude on the River promises to surpass the traditional boundaries of luxury living by offering a totally inclusive lifestyle to residents. An integral part of the unique lifestyle is the condominium’s onsite conveniences and full showcase of luxury amenities. The 2.3 acre waterfront site houses several different components including a 44-story luxury condominium, a bistro and riverside café, and commercial and retail buildings. The residence tower offers
24 river flats in floors 3-10, 377 tower units in floors 14-44 and 26 penthouses,
with units comprised of studios, one, two and three bedrooms. Units will offer breathtaking views of the river, bay and city . The modern-style buildings have been designed by internationally acclaimed Arquitectonica. In tune with the city’s master plan guidance, the architects and developers created a signature Promenade that traverses the entire ground-floor of the property and provides direct views from the street to the river.
Remember Miami Vice? Latitude on the River will be built on the site of this former popular television series. The classic Art Deco building, a former World War II shipyard where PT boats were built during World War II, was host to Miami Vice’s Organized Crime Bureau, the fictional Police Headquarters with the undercover name “Gold Coast Shipping.” It was also where the movie "The Specialist", starring Sylvester Stallone, was filmed. The developer will rebuild and restore the structure on the corner of the property as a featured landmark visible from both land and water. The new building will become an onsite 21-story commercial building that will house 217,000 square-feet of office and retail space. The class A, full-service building is an added amenity for residents, who will be able to work and live in the same development, and enjoy views of the river at any time of day. |
